Elisabeth Ganzin, 3rd year Bachelor student, internship at the Dorchester Collection

“Being able to discover and work in two Parisian Palaces, Le Meurice and Plaza Athénée, is a great opportunity to gain experience and skills,” says Elisabeth Ganzin, who is carrying out her 3rd year Bachelor internship at the Luxury Hotelschool.
Le Meurice and Plaza Athénée: these two iconic French luxury hotels belong to the Dorchester Collection, which brings together 9 luxury hotels, in France, Italy, England, the United States and soon in Dubai.
“I am fortunate to be able to work at the heart of customer service (Guest Experience). My role is to make contact with the customer very early on arrival, as soon as he is booked, in order to personalize his stay as much as possible. To ensure a unique and magical experience, we ensure that we anticipate your requests by listening to their preferences. During his stay, we work closely with each department of the hotel to offer a differentiating service that he will remember.”
After two months of internship at Le Meurice, where there is a “very good cohesion between each service” and where she had the opportunity to practice “several cross-training in order to discover the hotel as a whole through reception-governant services, room service and executive officer”, Elisabeth has now joined the Plaza Athénée.
“This internship is decisive for my career because it will allow me to continue next year in Master, alternating (reception), at the Meurice. This alternation could be an opportunity to evolve in accommodation at the end of my studies.”
