“The Luxury Hotelschool has helped me to structure my thinking and allowed me to initiate and carry out many projects.” Graduated from the Luxury Hotelschool in 1997, Fabrice Afuta is now Director of the Majestic Hotel & Spa Champs-Elysées.

During his career, he managed other luxury hotels, including the Beauchamps Champs-Elysées and the Hôtel Bachaumont. Specialist in revenue management and marketing, Fabrice Afuta, from taking over the Majestic in 2017, fulfilled its objectives of restarting the hotel: “I had to bring out the full potential of the hotel and the teams. A luxury hotel is a large company made up of multiple small businesses: reception, spa, catering, accommodation... Everyone has its budget and, as Director and conductor, you have to know them well and be very attentive.”

These leadership and managerial capabilities, Fabrice refined them throughout his career, from her training in the hotel school. In this period marked by Covid-19, the hotel industry must reinvent itself to match the new demands. “As early as 2019, we launched a project that culminated a few weeks ago: the creation of a new commercial entity — Majestic Appartements Champs-Elysées — to offer our customers the rental of one of our 27 luxury apartments (for 57 rooms and suites).”
