First VET by EHL graduates (the best hotel school in the world) in Paris
The first class of the Luxury Hotelschool to follow the VET (Vocational Education and Training) program of the EHL has just finished the program in Paris in two years after the baccalaureate. This exceptional course is taught in partnership with the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, first in the ranking of the best hotel schools. EHL is the first hotel school in the world, founded in 1893 under the name Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne. In 2022, for the fourth consecutive year, EHL was ranked the best university in the world in hotel and leisure management by QS World University Ranking.
Trained according to Swiss standards but in Paris, graduates were prepared to work in different departments of a hotel focusing on administrative tasks. They are trained to become confident and independent managers in their thinking, equipped with the key skills needed to successfully contribute to the overall success of a company in the luxury hotel sector. Each of the two years of study of this post-baccalaureate diploma is completed by a 5-month internship. This year, the students of the Luxury Hotelschool are on internships in catering, accommodation or concierge at the Plaza Athénée, the Shangri-La, the Bristol, the Royal Monceau, the Lutetia, the Byblos in Saint-Tropez, the Cheval Blanc and the Hôtel du Cap Eden Roc in Saint Barth as in Antibes, and also at the brand new Madame Rêve and Bulgari... At school, 80% of students choose to do their internship in a luxury hotel.
As part of the VET by EHL program, diplomas are delivered through the Badgr platform in order to stop using paper. Everything is digital to guarantee better security, but also to allow you to consult the profile and CV of the candidate since the diploma... They can continue their Bachelor of Hospitality studies in one year after graduating from the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne. They can then choose to study in French or English, in formal schooling or as an apprenticeship. The bachelor's degree is a course focused on hotel management for the luxury hotel industry whose level is recognized by the State, by registering the title with the RNCP.
